Scheduler CSR – Medical Office – Bilingual English/Spanish 

We have an immediate opportunity for a  Bilingual Central Scheduling Representative  to work in a busy community health clinic.  This is a busy office with a focus on patient quality care.  The  Bilingual Scheduler CSR  is responsible for answering and routing all incoming calls, and all tasks related to scheduling, updating patient information, forwarding calls and taking messages. 

Hours:  8:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri, with rotating evenings from 11:30am to 8pm, and every other Saturday from 8am to 12pm 

Pay:  $15.23 

Scheduler CSR Responsibilities: 

• Ability to answer high volume incoming calls in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to determine reason for the call and make appropriate connection 

• Document phone encounters in the electronic medical record system concisely and accurately 

• Coordinate with staff to ensure patient triage healthcare needs are met 

• Schedule patient appointments accurately using clinic standards and guidelines 

• Verify and update patient demographics 

• Collect and track data for routine reporting 

Scheduler CSR Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred 

• Professional and courteous demeanor 

• Familiarity with medical terminology a plus 

• Demonstrate good grammar in speaking and writing 

• Must be able to communicate accurately and make quick judgement decisions for clinic services 

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communication 

• Work well in a team environment 

• Strong customer service skills 

• Punctual and dependable 

• Ability to work with upset or angry callers on a regular basis
