Be the first point of contact on-site and help keep operations running smoothly. As a Scale House Clerk, you’ll play a key role in inspecting incoming materials, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records—all while supporting a fast-moving, team-oriented environment. Truck volume will vary day to day, offering a mix of busy periods and downtime. This role is ideal for someone who stays attentive, organized, and ready to jump in when needed. This position will be filling in throughout the construction season.
Schedule & Pay
6:45 AM – 3:30 PM, Days vary and there could be longer days or Saturdays during high volume times
$20.00/hour
Scale House Clerk Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming loads to ensure materials meet site requirements
- Use scanning equipment to check for contaminants and maintain quality standards
- Accurately complete and process tickets for all incoming materials
- Maintain records in compliance with ILEPA permit requirements
- Coordinate ticket distribution to the appropriate location
- Keep the scale house clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Step in to support operations as needed throughout the construction season
