Job Description

                                Packer – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, with overtime opportunities available
Pay Rate:$21.50/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
Total Compensation:$22.50/hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Packer to join our production team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for supporting packaging operations by handling product movement, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring packaging standards are met. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with packaging operations, including both wheel and block product packaging.
  • Move and position product throughout the packaging process.
  • Place products into bags, boxes, and other packaging materials according to established procedures.
  • Inspect products and packaging materials to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and food safety requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and remain active throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a production environment.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move products as needed.
