Leading manufacturer of machinery for the fastener and concrete industries is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for their first shift. This is a Furst-To-Hire opportunity.
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm, Mon-Fri.
Pay:$20-$25.00/hour DOE
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble units according to required specifications following written instructions
- Perform visual inspection of assembled parts
- Identify faults and test assembled parts or products
- Perform standard assembly procedures and rework and repairs on manufactured equipment
Mechanical Assembler Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and written instructions
- Ability to follow directions carefully
- Possess basic reading skills
- Knowledge of equipment and tools
- Manual dexterity, good eyesight and physically able to do the job
- Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
- High school diploma or GED
