Maintenance Technician – Shullsburg, WI 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client in Shullsburg, WI on a Furst-to-Hire basis.  This is a 2nd shift position.  The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment, buildings and grounds.  The ideal candidate will have prior PLC troubleshooting skills. 

Hours:  2pm to 10pm, + OT 

Pay:  $23.80 to $33.80/hour, DOE 

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: 

• Provide emergency, unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production 

• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service 

• Troubleshoot as needed using the following skills: mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, welding, steam, water piping, pneumatic and hydraulic 

• Maintain facility building and outside property 

• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the facility 

• Ensure sanitation, safety, GMPs and quality policies and procedures are followed 

Maintenance Technician Requirements: 

• Two-year vocational technical degree in field of industrial maintenance preferred 

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent skill by experience 

• Ability to deal with a variety of problems, utilizing reasoning and experience 

• Ability to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions 

• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies 

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics 

• Possess strong verbal communication skills 

• Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
