Job Description

                            Facilities Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our facilities. This role is responsible for facility cleanliness, supply management, basic maintenance support, and adherence to company procedures and safety standards, including SOPs, cGMPs, and OSHA regulations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate:$17.25 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Remove waste and maintain designated trash disposal areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
  • Empty waste receptacles and ensure cleanliness of common areas.
  • Clean and sanitize lunchrooms and restrooms daily.
  • Perform floor care and maintenance as needed.
  • Complete minor facility and plant maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with grounds maintenance and building upkeep.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Support janitorial operations across multiple facility areas.
  • Participate in site improvement and operational efficiency projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 0–2 years of janitorial, custodial, or related experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Required Skills:
  • General janitorial and cleaning experience.
  • Knowledge of floor care procedures, including stripping, buffing, and waxing.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
  • Moderate physical demands with frequent lifting of 25–50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).


Work Environment:
This position operates in a variety of settings, including office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
