Job Description

              Maintenance & Project Manager

FurstStaffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Project Manager to lead facility maintenance operations and oversee capital improvement projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing maintenance staff, coordinating contractors, ensuring equipment reliability, and delivering projects on time and within budget while supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
Pay:$35.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple capital projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
  • Supervise and develop the maintenance team, including work assignments and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and respond to equipment breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and oversee repairs involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and facility systems.
  • Partner with production and operations to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and purchasing of equipment and supplies.
  • Communicate project status and maintenance updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in industrial maintenance and project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and general building maintenance systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of construction documents, project specifications, and budgeting.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work 45+ hours per week.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
