We are currently hiring General Laborers for all shifts. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a food manufacturing environment, with the potential to transition into a long-term position based on reliability, performance, and a positive attitude.
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | $18.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | $18.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM | $18.60/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Position Details
This assignment is expected to last approximately 4 months, with opportunities for long-term employment and potential conversion for employees who consistently demonstrate strong attendance, safety, performance, and teamwork. Long-term opportunities include positions requiring a 12-hour Alternating Weekly Schedule (AWS).
General Laborer Responsibilities
Employees will support various production departments based on business needs, including:
- Packaging line operations, including hand packing, sorting, labeling, stacking, and unloading products
- Inspecting products and packaging for quality and accuracy
- Weighing raw materials
- Feeding gum products into production equipment
- Moving products and materials throughout the facility
- Cleaning and wiping down equipment and work areas
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Communicating professionally and effectively with team members
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (excluding breaks)
- Ability to lift up to 42 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, push, pull, walk, and use stairs
- Ability to visually inspect products and packaging
- Ability to complete basic paperwork with legible handwriting
