Job Description

             Electromechanical Assembler – Technical Assembly 

We are seeking an  Electromechanical Assembler  for a first-shift opportunity in Rockford, supporting the assembly of precision actuation and motion control products, including actuators and control panels.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical assembly skills, enjoy fine, delicate work, and can build from blueprints and work instructions.  This is a great opportunity to join a team that values quality, precision, and reliability.  This is a direct hire opportunity. 

Hours:  6:00am to 3:30pm with OT starting at 5:00am 

Pay:  $20.00 - $28.00/hour

Electromechanical Assembler Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble electromechanical components and subassemblies for motion control and actuation products 

  • Build actuators, control panels, and other precision assemblies using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions 

  • Complete fine, delicate assembly work with a high level of accuracy and consistency 

  • Install and connect small mechanical and electrical components to specification 

  • Perform small circuit board assembly as needed 

  • Inspect your work to ensure quality, fit, and proper function 

  • Work safely, maintain an organized area, and follow all procedures and standards 

  • Help identify and communicate any build issues or defects 

Electromechanical Assembler Requirements: 

  • Previous electromechanical, technical, or precision assembly experience 

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform fine-motor assembly tasks 

  • Experience with actuators, control panels, or similar products is a strong plus 

  • Small circuit board assembly experience is highly valued 

  • Soldering experience is a plus 

  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed 

  • HS Diploma or GED 

This is a safety-sensitive position. Must have good hand dexterity to handle small, delicate parts. Will handle small parts and tools in a manufacturing environment.  Please apply here or contact Heidi at 815-229-7810.
