Iron Worker Assembly
We have Furst-to-Hire opportunity for an Iron Worker Assembler
working at a local manufacturing facility. In this role you will be responsible for assembling Iron Worker machines and related products. Previous experience is preferred, but our client is willing to train a qualified individual with strong mechanical aptitude. Some electrical background is preferred. Previous or current trade school training is helpful.
Hours:
6am to 4:30pm
Pay:$20-$21/hour
Iron Worker Assembly Responsibilities:
- Build products using photos, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instructions
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and air tools
- Operate overhead cranes and proper rigging or lifting devices
- Operate a forklift
- Maintain a clean work area - good housekeeping
Iron Worker Assembly Requirements:
- Some basic welding experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Crane operator experience
