Job Description

                     Heavy Assembler Needed

We are seeking a dependable Heavy Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Sauk City, Wisconsin. In this role, you will assemble large, heavy components and subassemblies while ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule:
  • Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
  • Pay:$20.00

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble large and heavy parts, components, and subassemblies according to specifications.
  • Fit, test, and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet quality standards and required tolerances.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, schematics, and parts lists.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment such as hoists and cranes.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for defects and verify compliance with design and quality requirements.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process.
  • Work collaboratively with team members during multi-person assembly projects.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing plant or heavy equipment production facility.
  • Frequent standing, bending, gripping, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Regular use of power drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, lifting devices, and other assembly tools.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0–1 year of manufacturing or general production experience preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.

Skills:
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Related Experience:

Candidates with experience as a Heavy Equipment Assembler, Heavy Component Assembler, Fabrication Assembler, or similar manufacturing roles are encouraged to apply.
